    Estos cuatro volumenes requirieron para su realización la colaboración de dos grandes empresas, Great Dane Records y Red Phantom, así como de un conocido historiador de las actuaciones en directo y estudio de The Doors.

    El excepcional resultado fue The Doors Complete, que consiguió gustar no solo a los fans sino que incluso a los propios miembros de los Doors (tanto que Krieger, Densmore y Manzarek intentaron que su caja oficial de los Doors, Box Set, se pareciera a esta excepcional The Doors Complete, cosa que desgraciadamente no lograron debido, entre otras cosas, a las presiones comerciales de la compañia discográfica).
